It has been reliably learnt that the Pakistani cricketer Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar has started shooting for a Bollywood film, Main Aur Mera Himmat with Hansika. Reportedly,
Hansika has been paid Rs 2 crore for the film.
According to a reliable source, close to the star, Hansika is “playing the role of an innocent village belle” and will for the first time be seen as a typical Punjabi kudi, far removed from her usual trendy, youthful roles. The film is a story of a Pakistani cricketer who arrives in India on a tour and ends up falling in love with an Indian girl. As to what happens to their love story, forms the crux of the film.
