My work for new generation, but Sridavi’s was a classical

Mallika Sherawat is on a high with Jennifer Lynch’s film Hisss in which she plays a snake woman. The actress believes her role is on par with Sridevi’s famous character in Nagina. Her fans too are comparing her with Sridevi who immortalised the snake woman’s character in Bollywood.

"It will be unlike anything you ever saw. Nagina was a classic but Hisss is for the new age," Mallika writes on her Twitter account.

The actress describes her character as sexy and venomous. She seems to be trying her best to make it big with this film.

Robert Kurtzman, one of the best special effects artists of the West, is responsible for Mallika’s look in the film.

Actresses such as Vyjayanthimala, Rina Roy, Rekha, Mandakini and Manisha Koirala have also played the snake woman in Bollywood.
