John’s New York connection

John Abraham got accolades for his performance in his latest release ‘New York’ and his connection with the city continues. Bollywood’s hot hunk has taken some days off from the shooting of Abbas Tyrewala’s ‘1: 800 Love’ to be in New York. The heartthrob is in NYC to attend the IView film Festival.

IView film festival has been organised by the Engendered Society. The festival explores the complex realities of gender and sexuality in modern South Asia.

“I was so surprised when the jury said they would like Dostana to open the film festival. I am in New York as the red carpet is on 28th around 6 pm at Lincoln Center and the film will be screened on 29th same place,” said Dostana director Tarun.

Tarun and John will also speak on a few topics at the press conference to be held at the festival. Actors like Kirron Kher and Boman Irani will also be present at the IView Film festival. Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan will not be able to make it to the event due to prior commitments.
