Happy Birthday to Saif

It’s been a great year for Saif Ali Khan. The actor’s latest release Love Aaj Kal, which was also his first home production, has been running to packed houses.

Saif received great response for his performance in the movie and has been in a celebration mode. As Saif marks his 39th birthday today, we chat up his mommy dear Sharmila Tagore who has been high on Saif’s success.

Sharmila is extremely happy about Saif’s Love Aaj Kal. She reveals that she has seen the film thrice already and is planning to watch it again. Sharmila said, “I loved Saif’s performance in the movie, especially the Sardar bit. The pagdi and the entire look suited him so well.”

Sharmila reveals that she is in Switzerland with the family and Saif’s in Houston shooting for Agent Vinod so they won’t be able to celebrate his birthday together, but she’s already got a gift for him, “I have a special gift for Saif this time. It’s a surprise so he will get it only on the 16th.”

Blessing Saif with loads of luck and success Sharmila said, “I wish him loads of luck. Our blessings are always with him. I have seen him as an amateur actor to what he is today – a wonderful, fine actor.”
