The negative stories against Praja Rajyam Party in the media might have hit Chiranjeevi’s morale a couple of days ago; but the same media gave him the much needed boost by giving him maximum coverage on Saturday.

In connection with his birthday, almost all the channels telecast special programmes, features and films of Chiranjeevi since morning. Though he has given up films more than a year ago, the media continues to treat him as a film actor and give him the megastar image. Added to this, the success of his son Ramacharan Teja’s latest blockbuster Magadheera coincided with his birthday and that added to his enthusiasm.

Maa TV hosted a special programme “Happy Birthday Dad” with Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan Teja together, which is a sort of promo for Charan. Perhaps, Chiranjeevi must have enjoyed his birthday more as an actor than a politician.
