Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be the most sought after Bollywood star on the Internet worldwide, but in India, there is nobody to beat model-singer-actress Sherlyn Chopra when it comes to being the hot favourite of netizens. However, there is a lot more to Sherlyn than this exotic image she has built up for herself.
Even before the launch of her first upmarket film, Yash Raj’s Hadippa with Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherji, the ambitious actress with Christian-Muslim blood has been making steady inroads into Bollywood. She’s hoping to bag three projects this year including a Prakash Jha film and an item song in Farah Khan’s Happy New year. “Talks are on and they sound promising,” said the sexy Sherlyn.
In Hadippa, she plays a supermodel just returned to India from the UK, and has a good amount of screen time including scenes with Shahid and Rani. Yashraj, however, has one more schedule to go before this film will be ready for release and the production house is busy with John Abraham’s New York before that. In the meanwhile, Sherlyn Chopra can be seen in her Bikini Calendar for 2009. It was shot on Kelva Beach, the Mauritius of Maharashtra, and is so hot… you’ll wish you were there!
