The item queen Mumaith Khan has been one name that has been used in the Tollywood as a brand. Mumaith’s name finds the top place when spoken about item songs and spicy stills. Though she has earned big name like that, Mumaith has not scored success when it comes to her acting.
So when the film ‘Punnami Nagu’ was announced, the expectations were quite high and things hit the top after Mumaith came up with her bikini act. However, all that seems to have gone into thin air as soon as the film released as no big openings have been reported for it.
Despite the presence of names like director A Kodhandarami Reddy and story writer Yendamuri Veerendranath, the film failed to attract any crowds. Many say that with top beauties like Anushka and Nayantara in their bikinis, the time has passed to actually get impressed by Mumaith in a bikini. The result from the box office kind of makes it true.
