The Slumdog Millionaire Frieda Pinto was a non entity last year. The film made her into not just a star but a celebrity star overnight. The film bagged eight Oscars and suddenly Frieda was the most sought after actress from India.
Frieda has bagged a few Hollywood flms including one with Woody Allen. She will be paid a whopping 15 crore per film. Frieda has with just one film surpassed the top Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai, Asin, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
Even after so many ears in Bollywood, Aishwarya still commands just 2-4 crore per film. The amount is peanuts in comparison to what Frieda is now getting for a film – 15 Crore!
