President of defunct NTR Telugu Desam party Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi is very much frustrated for being treated as a villain in the August 2005 coup by TD president N Chandra babu Naidu against her husband and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao.
She reacted strongly to TD star campaigner Nandamuri Balakrishna’s comment that Naidu had not resorted to any backstabbing of his father, but had to stage a coup only to save the party from the clutches of Lakshmi Parvathi. “Balaiah should feel ashamed of defending Naidu, who had backstabbed his father. I throw him an open challenge; come for an open debate and say that what NTR said against Naidu in his tapes was wrong,” she said.
Of course, Balakrishna would not react to her challenge, because he knows the fact. And if he does, it would only give publicity to Lakshmi Parvathi. So, all that she speaks would not get her any publicity.
