Sex Bomb Happy To Act With Romantic Hero

Looks like Neetu Chandra has struck gold with her debut film in Tamil. The dusky actress, who did some memorable roles in Hindi flicks like Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and Traffic Signal, debuted in Kollywood with Yavarum Nalam that simultaneously released in Hindi as 13B.

Now, with the film going places, literally, is she happy? “Happy? That would be the under
statement of the year. Director Vikram put his foot down and insisted that I play the role of Priya in his movie.

My first Tamil film was with Maddy and I couldn’t have asked for more,” says the actress, who didn’t want to get into acting in the first place. “I was a sportsperson,” she recalls, “I have also learnt martial arts and represented India in many championships. But, when I was in my eleventh standard, I got an offer to do a commercial. And then, without even knowing what was happening, I was modelling for a few products!” Now that she’s already into the industry, will she do more Tamil flicks? I have already got few offers, but I want to do some meaningful roles and not blinkand miss ones.
