Director Boyapati Seenu was to direct Ravi Teja in actor-turned-producer Ganesh Babu's latest venture. The shooting was all set to start this month. He has been replaced by another young director, Parusharam, who shot to fame with Yuvatha. This venture will be launched on Mar 23.
This is the third time that Boyapati has been sacked from a movie even before it went to the sets. First, he was to direct Gopichand’s film for Gemini Film Circuits. Later, the project was dropped. The second film which did not materialise was a Nagarjuna-Kamakshi movie.
The third instance is that of producer Ganesh announcing that Boyapati would direct Ravi Teja for his production house. Nayanatara was to play leading lady in the film. Everything seemed right till, suddenly, Boyapati was sacked and replaced with Parusharam.
