The bubbly Genelia D Souza has slowed down a bit after making it big with films like Bommarillu. Her recent releases including the Krishna Vamsi directed film ‘Sasirekha Parinayam’ have only done modest business at the box office. Genelia is also trying her luck in Bollywood and has a few films in hand. Her new Hindi film ‘Jane Tu Ya Jaane na’ was a big hit.
Genelia has agreed to act in a new film to be produced by Gunnam Gangaraju. Gunnam is credited with producing offbeat films like Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Little Soldiers and Amma Cheppindhi. Gunnam is introducing a newcomer Srinivas as director with this film.
Genelia said that she liked the story very much and immediately agreed to do the film. The details about the star cast and technicians are awaited.
